Omelegg is a great restaurant with excellent service and good food in a nice neighborhood, with a market nearby and neat local shops. The restaurant has a simple and effective concept, but might be crowded on Saturday mornings. The omelets are perfect, and the restaurant has a nice atmosphere.
Trip Advisor Review: "We came here twice on a recent trip to Amsterdam, both times we received excellent service and amazing food.
Both times we got seated quickly and the menu has a good choice of omelettes or freshly baked croissants.
The first day I opted for Bacon and Farmer cheese, it came with a side salad and slice of bread, the omelette itself was delicious, the best omelette I think I've ever had!
The reason we came back a second time was because we wanted to try the Continental breakfast, that again was super yummy. The Continental is fresh orange juice and tea or coffee with bread, a boiled egg, ham, salami, cheese, tomato, yoghurt and muesli.
You get value for money as everything was under €10 and you get a good amount of food, we always left full up. Overall fab service, amazing food and good value for money, I will definitely be coming back if I find myself in Amsterdam again!"
